Before today, I spent 20+ years working in the adrenalin-fuelled marketing industry. I have worked with some of the world’s most influential brands and talent and also the UK Government. I travelled the world in senior roles, led work in award-winning companies and the truth is that I did much of this whilst living with anxiety and depression which was debilitating at times. Despite the appearance of success, I struggled with self confidence, imposter syndrome and burnout, in cultures where I often felt like I didn’t belong.
Fast forward to today and I’m a certified coach, Mental Health First Aid instructor & workplace mental health specialist who has spent the last 5 years working with some of the worlds’ most influential companies. Put simply, I help them to create healthy cultures where people can flourish.
This work is something of a survivors’ mission and it’s the best work I’ve ever done. It’s especially needed in a world where uncertainty persists, where people are leaving businesses at an unprecedented rate and where leaders and their People specialists feel burned out themselves.
And so Bright’s mission, (and one I’m so happy to lead) is to shine a light during challenging times, creating healthy workplaces where people burn Bright, not out.
The Future Of Work Is Bright
